We just got to Tokyo on Wednesday, but we have not had an opportunity to see much yet. We just had midterms. Sociology went well; economics I am not so sure about. Disneyland Tokyo is happening tomorrow and I am really excited. There are 16 of us I think and it costs like 58 dollars. I do not think I can do Hong Kong Disney though... no free days.
Plus Sumo tickets were sold out, which is kind of sad.
It is so hot here still and I have a lot of bug bites. More communal showers at this youth center! But these ones are cool with like 25 shower head and a huge hot tub thing. Today we started out Neighborhood Tokyo assignments, so I got to go explore Sugamon with people in my group. Last night we found some cool places and we will have more time to explore lately.
I lost my passport, which sucks, but I have like no time left, so I have to head out.

Hope you enjoy Disneyland Tokyo. Please talk with you economics professor for help. I've found that it takes some time for the principles to sink in and you are taking this course at a fast clip. A semester course is easier than doing it in a summer term, I have found out.
Enjoy learning lots about the various Tokyo neighborhoods. Athletes foot is very common, as you know, in communal places such as showers at swimming pools. Try to get some medicine for it.

Better get that passport. You know what they do to foreigners without their passports overseas. You'll be hanging by your thumbs in the (naked communal) jail. And enjoy Disneyland Tokyo. That's gotta be something else.
Hi Girls! Sounds like you are having some great experiences, and some not so great, like losing your passport. Good thing someone has a copy so you can get a replacement. Kyle, I talked with Kellen and he said you wrote him on Facebook. He was anxious to hear from you and was very happy. I am heading to Minneapolis for a week and don't know what internet access I will have there. Hope to be able to continue reading the blog. It helps me feel connected in some small way to you. I know what it feels like to lose something. I left my wallet in one of the resorts we stayed at and it just so happened that our bus drivers brother was 3 days behind us and it showed up and i got all happy. So I hope you have good luck with finding it.
